Probably just thinking about the fact of having sleeves at the wedding gown and the idea is not quite the ideal look for many of the brides. In fact it can become a plus effect, a plus of detail added to embellish the look. The sleeves can be made out of the same material as the whole dress, but better and if possible as style you can opt for lace. This way you make a remarkable design.

Furthermore, the sleeves are in some ways helpful, for example if the wedding is taking place in a not so warm season. At the same time it does not have to cover too much. Choosing a transparent material for this part of the dress you reveal the entire sexy look under: the back part, the shoulders.
But does anyone can choose a wedding gown with three quarter sleeves? On regards of the dress type I believe there are no restrictions. Even a backless dress can have sleeves and this without changing the style from formal to informal. But it depends more on the statue high, on a bride’s look, on her body shapes. If it is for a short statue high bride to choose three quarter sleeves this is not an encouraged decision to take. The visual impression will be of a shorter arm.
Combined with any style wanted three quarters sleeves to a wedding gown are on the one hand a great method of making a balance between proportions, on the other hand a plus effect- it imposes mystery if you want as it does not reveal overhung, not completely. A diaphanous look, a refined aspect.
