Wedding gown with sash

From ancient times until now and as religious dogmas as well tradition requires the wedding gown for the bride is the purely white dress. It represents the purity, the chastity, the honesty and sincerity, all those pure feelings that create the bride’s diaphanous aspect. And apart from this it seems to be as well a sing of respect towards the divinity for the woman when getting married to be dressed not in various colors but one and a bright pleasant one: white.

But modernism does not make any step behind. It fallows its own course and starts to gain popularity. A modern bride does not want to look dull and have a common bridal image of the simple white dress. On the one hand so the sexy dresses types replace the modest and decent gowns, on the other hand the colored dresses are as well an option to be the spot of color. It is a way of expressing the personality better and be remarkable.

But as this event happens to be once in a life time, a so major one, are brides willing to leave behind such things even though in some cases obsolete? After all they dream since little girls about this day, about the white dress. And so, to combine the both sides the invention is to add a spot of color and still preserve the white aspect. It is all about the wedding gown with sash.

The sash is the ribbon, the string added to the middle of the dress. It is the waistline better accentuated, it is the color accent added that all together create a special unique appearance. A wedding gown with sash happens to match with a dress tight at the middle as this becomes the main center of attraction. Of course that the waistline does not matter where it is positioned or wanted to be positioned: empire, dropped waist and so on.

The sash style can be in various ways, depending on the type of dress, as well as on the bride’s tastes. But in some cases certain things must be evaluated. For a petite bride to create the impression of length the perfect choice is to choose a long sash, one that flows at the back with its two parts. For a simpler look, the sash can be short, ending with a big bow or just simple with no extra details and so accentuate the color accent used. As we are at this chapter the color for the sash the bride chooses has to be at extremities: dark color for a contrast, a soft one for matching with the bouquet.

All things considered, the sash added to a bridal wedding gown is just a little detail that makes the difference. It is a small piece into a big puzzle that contributes as well to create a diaphanous look, a remarkable one, a totally distinguish one. And this is what you want after all, isn’t it?
