Wedding Attendants Gowns

The first two weddings were meant to be celebrated in the season of summer and the third one in the mid fall so I had to come up with special gowns fit for these two seasons. My wardrobe didn't contain at that time anything of that sort, just a long sleeved black jersey dress that I wore once at the inauguration of the International Primary School where I used to work. Other than that nothing to be appropriate to a wedding celebration and to be honest I wasn't aware of the kind of dress one is supposed to wear at a wedding event. Is there different attire to wear, one for the ceremony and the other for the reception?

I had to do some research in this matter, since there seemed to be quite a problem with the way people get dressed for these occasions. And what other way is there to do the specific research if not through the help of the Internet web pages? So I turned on my PC and introduced the theme: wedding attendants gowns. The results of my research weren't satisfactory enough as the web pages displayed merely attires suitable for the bridesmaids and maid of honor, for groomsmen and the best man and of course attires to be worn by the families of the wedding couple.
However these web pages helped me in some matter in that they displayed some criteria according to which a wedding attendant should pay attention when it came to the way of dressing. First of all there has to be the theme of the wedding where an invitee is supposed to attend to, this theme is reflected in the tone of the wedding card or if there is a specific request on behalf of the couple regarding a certain outfit then this one should be mentioned together with the invitation wording.

Second, the level of formality in the displaying of a wedding celebration should be the one to let you know about the way you have to get dressed. If there is a less formal note of the wedding, then the casual outfit seems to be more favored. And third, the wedding attendants gowns shouldn't compete with that of the bride both in color and aspect. A woman attendant mustn't wear something that exceeds in appearance and outfit the wedding gown of the bride as she is the one that has to attract everyone's attention, she being the most important character in a wedding festivity.
Taking into account these considerations, I finally reached for two summertime spaghetti straps gowns in floral print fabrics and for the third one a green long dress with long sleeves to attach to the bodice for the cold air of the fall evening in this way solving the problem without any further headaches.
