Vintage Bridesmaid Dress

The cloths cannot change one’s personality or character but they reflect this. The cloths cannot put us on to a higher stage in society but the overall aspect reflects and makes people around to determine our “value”. No matter how we take this one thing is sure: through how we dress and present ourselves we create a certain image in correlation with everything that we are.

Especially when it comes about a major event we think from the very beginning about the first impression we will make to the others. And in order to not failing into creating a fancy chic style the classic outfit is the first and most desirable option. Is this always the proper solution to recur to? Take the example of one in the posture of a maid of honor to a wedding. Vintage bridesmaid dress can fit in any decor? Can this be representative for no matter what wedding theme and concept? Is this the best thing to recur to just to have a classic style created and be sure that you will not fail in this mission?

Vintage style will always be fashionable. As many say what is old is gold. But at the same time many claim that fashion is about progress in this domain, about inventing coming with innovative things. So, looking forward not back.

Vintage bridesmaid dress of course that matches with a wedding that is in the same consent. But besides this it also depends on how exactly one takes the vintage style. It can be about an exact copy of vintage dresses types or just the idea adapted to the nowadays tendencies or to one’s preferences. And if it is so I believe that there is no problem, no worries for you if it is an appropriate style to choose for your maids of honors.

What is vintage in your opinion? This is as well another reference to take into consideration when it comes about judging if nowadays some old tendencies can still be applied. For example, Victorian style, with those bustled back parts of the dresses, with bouffant look and sleeves, tight corset and all covered is just too much to ask for your bridesmaids to wear. And moreover, it can be interpreted to be ridiculous if not funny. But for example a pleated dress, a tea length one and halter neckline like the Marilyn Monroe inspired dress, these ones can be appropriate in any situation and moreover one can say that it is a totally modern look.

All things considered, vintage style will always gain highly appreciations. But above this, what counts first into your aim imposed to wear such a style is the esthetically sense required as to match the things, as to make it somehow and be like part of the decor. In other words, the suitability with the event you intent to go.

The first impression is always important and I agree with the fact that no matter how fashionable vintage dresses might be there are still not appropriate to be worn at any of wedding because this style might not always be consistent with the theme of the wedding, with the decor, with the wedding dress worn by the bride, etc. and these are all important aspects to consider whenever a bridesmaid chooses the dress that she will wear at a wedding. The dress in the first picture is quite nice and can be considered to represent the vintage style but who does actually decide what is representative and what is not representative of the vintage style?
