Which brings me back to the topic: the diamond wedding collection of gowns. I wanted to do some research in this matter and I was surprised to see that actually a diamond wedding gown looks exactly the same with a crystals embroidered wedding dress, the difference lays in the sparkling of the stones and most important, in the price, which, by the way it is more than a human mind can conceive. But again, maybe brides when it comes to spend money for their wedding dress they just lack the touch of common sense; they want it all. I mean OK, what exactly that ‘all’ means? A wedding dress, that shines more than your natural beauty? Why the need to wear something that fabulously expensive considering that it is only for one night?
But it is not up to me to judge the whimsical wills of the rich brides; if they can afford to spend millions of dollars on their wedding gown, so be it! But I still consider that the beauty lies on the inside and the special day of a wedding has to shine through the happiness that the bride has inside and share it to the witnesses of her big event, and not through a dress that is worn for one night stand.
Some sites are displaying diamond wedding collection of gowns and offer the viewers the possibility to comment upon the displayed images. I just made a spontaneous statistics and I realized that out of 20 viewers only 3 were the ones to praise the dresses, the rest were outraged about the opulence expressed by such wedding gowns.
In my opinion these diamond wedding gowns should be worn once, as it actually happens, for in the end to be exhibited in special collections in order to be viewed as pieces of museum, meaning to be something that gets you to the famous saying: look but don’t touch.
