Strapless Wedding Gowns

The strapless wedding gowns were the revelation of 2009 and as everyone knows, the fashion returns from time to time. This is the reason why last summer we enjoyed the dresses inspired by the retro fashion or why the vintage current became so trendy nowadays. It seems that for 2009 in the wedding dress “scene”, the new trend was the strapless dresses or the wedding dresses with a bodice. Even if, in fact, it is nothing new in this trend (because it has roots somewhere in the 60s), designers took the main elements and reinvent them in some collections meant to leave us wonder.



Greek dress: it seems like it was reinvented; the Greek style wedding dress without shoulders, made a sensation last year. Made of fluids fabrics, its highlights women forms in the most simple and delicate way; without any accessories this dress really speaks for itself; its advantage is that it can be worn by almost any woman, regardless of height or weight. The downside (if we can call it like this), is that wearing such an outfit, the women will always be on the second place because on the first place will be, without any doubt, the dress which is distinguishing from the first sight.



Embroidery. Can you remember since you wore last time an embroidered piece of cloth? Well in 2009 and also in 2010, seems to be the perfect opportunity to try an embroidered wedding dress. It is feminine, sexy, attractive, elegant, and it will turn you instead into a lady full of charm and sensuality. If you will feel too “exposed”, you can try a simple bolero, embroidered or a bolero made of lace.



The dresses with high waist. Maybe you wore pants with their waist really high because it was trendy but you did not try such dress yet. High waist dresses and skirts were not in fashion anymore since 80s but it seems that this trend has returned also but surprising ... in bridal collections! If you choose one of these dresses, do not forget about accessories (a simple colorful belt around your waist is the most elegant accessory).



Two pieces dress. Although called “wedding dress” this does not mean that the “dress” can not be, in fact, skirt and bodice. Choose a longer bodice which is overlapping the edge of the skirt and somehow, even if you do not see any difference in the first phase, put a colorful ribbon around your waist and surely you will stand out as the one in the picture. My tip here is that you should not wear too much jewelry.. I guess a pair of earrings and an oversized ring or a bracelet, will be enough.



Gold. If you are a redhead, it would be a shame not to choose a golden wedding dress. Or at least, almost golden one. Even if you respect traditions and follow them, do not forget about fashion. Designers have worked a while until they came up with this perfect combination. This wedding dress is idea for women with a very pale skin tone because they will get a very special glow. Have courage and try it!



The strapless wedding gowns are wonderful because they are more feminine and sexy, you have to try one .. but finally, I am sure you will be a gorgeous bride, regardless what you wear, because the happiness that you will have in your wedding day, will make you glow more then anything else can.
