Red And White Wedding Gowns

Tradition is by definition an inherited pattern of thought, social attitude, behavior or action. There isn’t any written rule in regard to the tradition, so when it comes to celebrating your wedding event, you are free to choose not to follow traditions. Nobody could blame you for this. This non-conformity can be reflected also by your preference to wear a non-totally white wedding gown. If red is the color that appeals to you the most, or red is the color that is contained in most of your clothing fabric, then selecting this color for your wedding outfit won’t be such of a big problem.

In this regard, fashion designers have created wedding gowns both in plain red or red and white wedding gowns, the latter ones showing a displaying of red that adds certain elegance and passion to the wedding attire. A spot of red in the decoration of your dress is meant to bring the clothing item a trace of audacity next to modernity, that is why many brides-to-be prefer better the combination of red and white in the selection of their wedding gown. The above mentioned features depend on the way the red is allotted in the overall aspect of the gown.

There are styles of red and white gowns that incorporate traces of red in the shape of decorative red roses disposed on the surface of a ruffled skirt or red trimmings added to the sparkling white of a wedding gown. The bridal websites are rich in designs that are created on the purpose of satisfying every wish of the future brides, since there are brides-to-be that are in search of a dress more or less obviously showing the non-traditional choice of a wedding celebration.

One may say that merely the choice of a non-white wedding dress is the one that casts the wedding outside the limits of tradition, but at the same time we should not forget that rules, even the unwritten ones, are meant to be broken. For instance the choice of a red and white wedding gown seems to be a brilliant one when it comes to wedding planned for the season of Christmas time. If you are having your wedding close to this holy day or even in this specific day, then the selection of such a gown is maybe one the best of your life. It is not an overreaction, you can convince yourself by browsing the sites that comprise this choice of a dress and you’ll see that it is right!

I have seen, for example, one wedding gown which has red limited only to the portions of hem and neckline, with white embroidery to trim the edges of the red stripes. The dress was made in a classical A-line and the bell shape of the skirt was elegantly continuing on the back side with a short train that had some white snow flakes embroidered on its surface. The effect of those pieces of red incorporated in the white surface of the dress rendered the gown a perfectly match to the spirit of a holy Christmas. This was the dress that I had recommended to my best friend’s wedding since her special event was planned to be celebrated close to the Christmas days. All I can say is that she turned out to be very satisfied with the style of the dress, she looked so shiny and elegant that she gained everybody’s admiration and acceptance as well, even from those who had rather preferred to see her wearing plain white. And if you don’t believe me, there is the video to prove my statement!11
