A color that is quite special in its meaning is pink. Brides of today choose shades of pink for the color of their wedding dresses. Pink is a warm color, a quiet one, a color that the lovers of beauty favor. Basically pink is formed by the combination of white and red. As any other color, pink is rendered a state of energy that it sends out, and because white is the color that emits potential for fullness with red helping you to achieve that potential, it results in a combination of these energies that lead to warm love, to soothing effects on one’s behavior. Compared to red, which denotes passionate love, pink is the note of romance and charm contained in love.
Who is not familiar with the phrase: “in the pink”? It means being in a perfect condition, both healthily and spiritually. As it is stated, the earliest use of this phrase is dated since the 16th century, which at that time was more related to the state of being in the “very pinnacle of something” not necessarily of a health condition. If you want to wear pink wedding gown at your ceremony, it is nicer to choose one of the shades that gained exotic names in the fashion design, such as: “paradise”, “champagne”, “iridescent” or “Paris”. Be aware that the softer shades relate more to the feminine side of the color meaning, than the darker shades.
In the fashion trends pink has gained lately a lot of attention. It had also its moments of being in the spotlights with lots of starlets to wear it. Fashion design houses, such as Christian Dior, Versace, Alfred Angelo, Raylia, Maggie Sotero and others, have chosen pink, mostly light tints of pink to create elaborate pink wedding gown that make the object of so many future-to-be brides. Every new fashion parades include in them gowns pink colored, adjusting perfectly the fashion style of that moment with this color that has so much to offer.
