If I were to ask each and every one of you what your favorite part of the Christmas holiday is, the majority would respond that the love receiving gifts and other would say that they love decorating the Christmas tree. Sure, there would be answers like snow fights and drinking hot chocolate, but I bet most people love the fact that they can send and receive gifts.



Gifttreez is a new Facebook application that allows you to do just that. You have install like just like any other Facebook application and allow it to post certain information on your profile. The more friends you invite to join and the more people that install the application, the more fun you will have using this application. The sad part is that after you have chosen your favorite tree out of 6 possible models, you have to wait for your friends to gift you with special Christmas tree decorations. This is why you have to invite as many friends as you possibly can and convince them to install this app.



Just like most applications, you get points for doing certain activities. In this game, when your friends have chosen their very own tree, you can visit each and every one of them. By voting a friend’s tree you shall receive one vote and if they vote you back, you will get 2 points. Like I mentioned before, for one person to have something to put in tree, they have to receive the decorations. Gifttreez allows you to send a decoration daily to your friends and put it in their Christmas tree. To do that, you also have to send them a message that you write in a special window that pops up once you have placed a gift in a person’s tree. You don’t have to write anything fancy, sometimes a simple “have a nice day” can brighten up someone’s day. For every gift that you send, you will receive 10 points. When someone sends you a gift back, you will get another 5 points.



You have to gather these points for 2 reasons. The first: the more point you have, the higher your network rank will be. Points are also useful if you ever want to make that small Christmas tree grow. If you want a medium sized tree, you must sacrifice 750 points and if you want the huge tree, you will need 1500 points. First, you have to gather them. To do that, convince as many friends as you can to install this app and choose their own tree and gift them every day. This is a good way to increase your points fast because giving away decorations gives you the biggest number of points.
