Ok, so the classical wedding gown which sweeps the floor of the aisle, and requires a lot of energy when dancing or pretty much anything that involves walking, might never become unpopular; but it’s starting to lose ground against more comfortable dresses. Brides allover the world are starting to choose dresses with no trains at all, and they still look gorgeous on their wedding day. Some, more daring ones, keep the train, but cut the length of the gown, to a mini dress.

Asymmetric gowns weren’t that popular in the past, but guess what? Brides these days are loving one- shouldered gowns or those cut on a bias. Designs that are not quite symmetrical are starting to be popular too; lace can cover one part of the dress, leaving some fabric exposed for a two- tone effect.
No matter what kind of dress a bride chooses, it should be one which will make her fell beautiful, admired and comfortable on her very special day.
