Men In Wedding Gowns

With my friend's wedding everybody who was involved in the planning started to fret as much as with excitement but also with stressful occasions delivered by a bride who couldn't go for the right choice of a dress. All the family members, including her brother, were like sitting on needles and pins all the time they happened to be around my unsatisfied friend. Ever since the planning has began she started to have problems in regard to the specific wedding gown, not knowing exactly what was there the best style, the best length, the best shape of train, the most beautiful hair style; nothing seemed to measure up her desires.

Looking back, I think that she didn't even know what exactly she was looking for. I can tell you for sure, as I happened to be quite often around her and from what her brother usually reported to me, that the moment she woke up every morning she opened her PC and started to look for THE gown, as she used to verbally underline. I knew back then that finding THE wedding gown it was not a task so easy to accomplish, especially with the large variety of designs available online, but yet, she had to come to a decision sooner or later, otherwise the wedding date would knock one day at the front door and she wouldn't have anything to wear.

Her mother used to tell her all the time hoping that she would wake her up and realize that there wasn't actually so much time ahead to allow her one day to come with a dress for the next day to change her mind. I have seen her many times acting like this, showing herself very enthusiastic with one style of a dress for the next day when I came by again to find her having a total opposite opinion on the dress chosen only 15 hours ago. I confess that I was also taken by surprise to see a person being so indecisive, but her brother told me that all of them expected her to be like that since she did that all the time while shopping for something to wear.

And again I was amazed to hear that, since as far as I knew, her sizes were and still are to be found in various elegant, beautiful outfits for various occasions, including the wedding events. She had and still has a body of a Goddess, no kidding; some may say that perfection was invented merely because these women's bodies have ever existed. But maybe that was the reason that she couldn't decide and finally to help her we have voted to do something funny; an idea struck me one evening while watching a show about men in wedding gowns.



I told the plan to my boy friend and together we worked it out: he called the bridal store and rented five of the wedding dresses existing in the store, these five having each a style to represent the most favored styles to belong to the bridal gown couture. These gowns were meant to be dressed by my boyfriend and other four of his friends who happened to be slimmer in body shapes to fit these specific gowns, and have them presented in front of my friend, with the specific catwalk moves. The fashion parade with men in wedding gowns proved to be a good plan to make my friend decide on the style of her wedding dress, not to mention that we had a lot of fun, and plenty of the stress was then released.
