Mcclintock Wedding Gowns

My friend’s wedding was supposed to take place no later than 3 months, and since I was pretty much involved with her wedding planning I was once again summoned to assist her with the research regarding her wedding gown. Her wedding celebration was meant to be celebrated in the classic and elegant tones of black and white, she had thoroughly planned every detail of the wedding event, she even hired the DJ to select the jazz music for her wedding reception meant to take place in the atmosphere of the 50s…

Now all that was left for her to do was to find the black and white wedding gown that could be appropriate for her 50s style of the black and white themed wedding. She had tried to approach the matter on various web blogs, but all that she could get as a satisfying answer was some styles of black and white wedding dresses, but none seemed to lift up to her expectations. They were really beautiful and elegant, but she needed something to comply with the spirit of the 50s, those styles introduced by Dior and by Chanel in the years of discovering new lines to define the silhouette of a woman.

I strongly advised her to go for the dresses of various fashion designers, especially the ones specialized in the bridal fashion, but her answer was that she is not at all satisfied with the thought of paying extravagant amount of money for a dress meant to be worn for only one night. I told her that purchasing a black and white wedding gown doesn’t necessary mean that the style of the dress restricted her to the wearing for one night. The dress could be the one to support other social events she might attend to in the future.

She agreed with me, but yet her limited amount of money allowed her to buy a dress in the price range of $200.00 – $300.00. Well, to me it seemed that her only option left was to go for the wedding dresses displayed on discount or on sale, when she suddenly pointed at me a dress that apparently matched her vision of the 50s black and white wedding dress. It was a dress with a bustier made of poly mesh, a square cut at the neckline, the A-line style of the skirt presenting ruffles with black lace trimming and the empire waist embellished with black lace midriff having a black satin ribbon tied in front with a bow. The skirt was tea-length-ed and presented white tulle petticoat.

The point is that the dress was sent by one of the internet visitors that answered her blog questions, but no indication of the web site that hosted the specific dress. Later, the next day another visitor said that the dress belonged to the bridal collection of McClintock wedding gowns and that the price was rather cheap, $235.00. My friend thanked the visitor of her blog and rushed into the web site that presented McClintock wedding gowns and checked over there for its availability in size and finally managed to get her peace of mind back in order to sleep more relieved.
