Jason Wu was originally born in Taiwan and by the age of nine he moved in Vancouver, Canada. He attended Eaglebrook School in Massachusetts and Loomis Chaffee in Connecticut. Designing and sewing doll clothing was the first step he took into the fashion designing. He has launched his ready-to-wear line of clothes in a full collection that has debuted in 2006 which later has lead him to winning the award of Fashion Group International’s Rising Star in 2008. His style incorporates full length gowns the ones appropriate for balls occasions, revealing a classic line with bright colors and prints but managing to remain at the same time clean and devoid of flashiness.
The clothes that Jason Wu designs are renowned to contain a ladylike look, in an easiness of wearing and freshness in appearance. With their richness in colors and fabrics they can be seen as elegant and sophisticated but keeping an air of simplicity in their displaying. The year of 2009 offered him the chance to be in the public attention due to the dress he has presented to the First Lady, this gown being selected to be worn on the occasion of inaugural-ball. It is a one-shouldered white dress made in silk and chiffon embellished with Swarowski crystal and its style still attracts a number of brides-to-be to wish the dress for their wedding gown.

Jason Wu wedding gown has been presented in fashion parade of the spring/summer 2009 collection and it is a creation of airy fabric that breathes transparency and easiness in wearing with its three ruffled layers of the skirt and the bodice made by the same airy fabric with small vertical pleats to give an aspect of richness to the upper part of the dress, but allowing it to remain simple and ethereal.
In his collection you can meet also dresses to fit a wedding event, one of them being an ivory silk chiffon dress sleeveless having metallic gold embroidery spread over its entire surface a scoop neck and V cut at the back side. The draped overlay skirt gives the dress an aspect of opulence and elegance, conveying the bride to wear the breathtaking appearance on her walk down the aisle. If you want to opt for the elegance similar to the one worn by first ladies you can incline toward an extravagant outfit which is more suitable for the weddings celebrated in the chilly seasons of the year, an outfit consisting of an angora coat with a skirt that has tiered ostrich feather all of it in an ivory tone of a color. The coat has a round cut of the neckline with cropped sleeves giving the ensemble the look of an ultimate mark of luxury.
Choosing this designer’s creations as the attire of your wedding celebration determines you to add to the outfit the high-heel shoes with choices of shiny clutch necklaces to complement the style of the lady-like dress, in this way the fashion designer could present his ideas in a collection of Jason Wu wedding gowns without the fear of being misunderstood.
