How to combine brown bridesmaid dresses?

I remember that a year ago I went to a cocktail where all my friends and colleagues were present. At work, every girl was worried about “what she’ll wear at this special event?”. Personally, I always know the solution: a black gown accessorized with jewelries in the same color with my make-up. Anna, a good friend of mine, told me that she’ll wear a brown long dress. She surprised all of us with her decision, especially that she’s wearing (even now) only green outfits (because her eyes are green, that’s how she explains her totally green wardrobe). And since then, I started to think: How would I look wearing a brown gown? Since then, I must admit that I actually invest in two (three, four) brown clothes and I’m totally happy about how I look while wearing them.

Being a blond woman with blue eyes, the brown makes my eyes even blue and I only can be happy. Before buying those brown clothes, I used brown just for my eyes make-up. Are you curious how Anna looked dressed in her wonderful brown long dress? Well, she was totally blowing mind. Even now I remember how silky was the fabric of her dress, how carefully it was stitched the embroidery and I remember even those sparkling blue beads of her ribbon caught to underline her waist. She also used brown and blue for the make up of her eyes.

Regarding brown bridesmaid dresses, I consider that is a wonderful option because brown, as black on the other side, expresses elegance, and it can be combined with many other colors even more easily. As I said in other article, is quite hard to juggle with black because very easily you can obtain a vulgarly result. But, mixing brown with other colors, you can obtain beautiful warming and playful looks. In the following lines, I’d like to share with you some of my favorite tips of combining brown bridesmaid dresses with other colors:

-brown and pink: I used this combination of colors for my make-up. Even now I have more than twenty brown kohl and five pink lipsticks. This combination truly does miracles for blond girls with blue eyes. A pink bow will perfectly fit with your dress, but even better you can wear pink floral bouquet.

-Brown and grey is a more seriously make-up perfect for brunette girls. A nude lipstick must be a “must have” for you. Silvery or golden jewelries will offer you a very sophisticated carriage.

-Brown-pink, brown-green, brown-blue, brown-yellow and brown with metallic shades are my favorite combination which always go noticed.

Hey, girls! I wrote this article quite long time ago, so I don’t remember exactly where the dress in the second picture is from. In my opinion, is a simple dress which can be done by a talented dressmaker, I think this solution is even cheaper, but it’s up to you. It’s like a fight between money and time.
