Green Color Wedding Gowns

A bridal gown is recognized and defined by its purely white color. Why is this the main and single option for a bride’s outfit?  Because tradition says so and along the years this has become the symbol of a bride: white is the meaning of chastity, an imposed “rule” by the religious dogmas, as well makes reference to everything pure and honest about this event and feelings towards the one to be the life partner.

Not only for the bride but for her groom as well white must be the defining color. But in the modern society we live in today such beliefs are totally lost. Even though the bridal gown preserves white as main aspect interferes some color accents, as to bring a new vision, as to be out of the common eel. But others take this to extreme and choose a dress of a complete other nuance. For example, green wedding gowns instead of one with some of its details of a green nuance, like the sash or the veil and so on.

In the first place, not only that a bride will make her be unrecognized for this posture but categorized as being just a guest to the wedding. A green wedding gown could be an ordinary guest’s outfit or the maids of honors dress choice. In other words, it is easier to make such a confusion as the bride will have nothing representative, but a dress colored, an outfit that usually it could be worn to another event like this, when being in the posture of a simple attendant.

But in the same measure who says that a bride’s gown has to be of a white look? It depends after all on the one that wears it, as white cannot be always the best choice. For a person of a bright, white skin with the white dress its face could be like when feeling sick and pale. And for one with an olive skin tone, for an African American for example white it could make the contrast that is not so wanted. Consequently, such a bride will choose anther color of the dress, something to come not as a contrasting nuance but in the same color palette.

Apart form this, green color wedding gowns can be the alternative of a bride at her second marriage. It is said that getting married for the first time the bride is untouched, but not the same theory applies later. And so, out of respect for this situation the bride will choose either a pale soft colored dress, ivory, pearl, either a totally colored one. And green is one of it, with the symbol for a new life, for prosperity, for balance in life ad feelings.
