Golden is a very precious and sophisticated shade and I think through these words I said all you must know. Wearing a golden bridesmaid dress, you’ll have a very sophisticated look and you won’t go unnoticed. But you must be very careful when “creating” your look because is very easy to look cheap or too “charged” like a Christmas tree. There are few rules regarding golden array for important events such as weddings. First of all, you must avoid extremist combination such as golden and black, golden and green or golden and blue. I don’t think you wanted to create this look, but I wrote just in case.




The second rule: pay attention to textures: satin, mat or sparkling. Is up to you what material you’ll choose for your dress, but still you must create a balance between textures. And the third rule: you can wear golden during day and also during night, but you must create a suitable look for these moments. As you can see in the first image, during day, you can assort your golden bridesmaid dress to gold sandals and sophisticated jewelries such as Greco Roman bracelets. It’s ideal to wear a short golden gown during day for having a fresh and refined look and keep your long flouncy dress for the night. As well, during day, you can wear a white dress with gold accessories , or a beige dress with golden ribbon.

There are lots of options and you can choose what you like the most or what defines the best your personality. It’s very important to cater for the rules I wrote in the first lines. If you really think you have the nerve of wearing such an elegant, sexy and sensual dress than go ahead, but keep simple in what regards the others details such as make-up (nude is ideal), hair-do (elegant, simple, don’t charge your aspect with very elaborated hair-do), jewelries and bags. The dress is already very powerful and speaks volumes about your personality. Don’t blur its effect with other accessories. Finally, all you need for creating a divine aspect for the wedding you must go as bridesmaid, are good aesthetic senses and patience.
