Now it’s time to discuss about other problem regarding the fiesta bridesmaid gown-their design:
Summer trends are embarked already for the final wave. Autumn-winter collections of prêt-a-porter and haute couture have paraded under the « chilled » glances of the stylists, and designers are in preparations for a new estival season. In fashion, time doesn’t have patience. However, let’s review the main trends of the 2009 summer regarding evening gowns, a year that bears the mark of economic crisis and the monetary decline. After a quick look per ensemble, we can state that imagination doesn’t know any limits of financial nature. Fiesta bridesmaid gown destined for the vesperal moment or special occasions have been marked by the same glam that designers have brought to the rank of law.
1.White fiesta bridesmaid gown
White has been in the center of the attention this season. It’s hard to imagine an estival season that excludes this color from the chromatic gamut of reference. Re-interpretations of white are diverse and drift from the numerous sources of inspiration: the Helen model, gallantly illustrated by Marc Bouwer, the floral applications, the mermaid gown and the metallic applications that serve at the marking of the waist, exemplified in the Note de la Marchesa collection. Georgina Chapman is a supporter of feminity reflected in tailoring, and white induces that note of freshness and innocence that is indispensable to a clean romantic look.

2. Color’s magnetism
Color can be the main attribute of an evening gown, and for 2009, designers wallowed us with a variety of approaches of primary colors. We therefore meet tertiary colors like coral or turquoise, which brings into the big picture the boldness and the experimental attitude of the creators in matters of modern women. I’ve met even electrifying shades of indigo, like this Tadashi creation, pink or green, cobalt blue and even azure. This summer was also a tribute to color!
3. The playful print
The print forms for most designers the optimal solutions to render an explosion of color; various shades are appearing on a neutral note and compose graphical, floral or simple ornamental attempts to shock models. Max Azria brings at BCBG a plus of urban geometry, in what can be translated as abstract art. And he’s not the only one: couples of creators from Badgley Mischka go for red and, with a spectacular result, are becoming directly aspirants to the grand prize. And the extravagant Cavalli women are dressed in pearls. . .

4. Classic, therefore immortal
. . . black remains black. The constant, ferm presence, black doesn’t win seasonal championships, but is a fierce opponent. Here’s a thing known by the people in high fashion: Oscar de la Renta, Blumarine and Cavalli are some of the name for which black gives the start in elegance. We observe extravagant tailoring, bold stitches, and an effective play with the fabric, because fashion is after all a continuous play.
