I know you don’t want to happen, but still you should be prepared in case that your wedding gown will suffer some damages. So here are some dry cleaning damage to wedding gown tips which will solve your problems in case that some small accidents will happen in your wedding say.  Were you dressing and you stain your wedding gown with makeup? Or you gave some drops of ink on the sleeve? Pay attention: removing stains from a wedding dress can be pretty difficult. Water or liquid cleaning agents can leave  signs and bleach can burn material irretrievably. A little preparation – and a well prepared emergency kit - can make a big difference. So here is our solution for dry cleaning damage to wedding gown.




Spots of ink
Sign the marriage contract or a note of love for the groom before marriage and your hand slipped? Quick fix: Give a little hairspray on a cleansing pad and stain lightly.
Note: These quick solutions will not completely remove stains, but they will fade and it will be easier to remove later. Please review these tips along with staff from the room before attempting any of these techniques – each dress material is different and therefore may react differently.

Water spots
Sweat, tears, or even Evian mineral water can stain the dress. Press  immediately the spots with a clean white towel to absorb the excess water. Warning: if you attack the wet points with the hair dryer, you might make them to lie down even harder. Fast repair: passing steam iron over the material to remove the sign. Do not forget to ask the salon staff that made your dress if you can use the iron or steam iron on the dress, when you lift it after the final touches.

Makeup spots
How much you will be kissed, there is likely to wake up with makeup stains on your dress. Fast repair: don’t rub. Put some mineral water on the stain and then sprinkle salt to absorb the moisture. Let it dry. If the dress still remains stained, retouched with white chalk or talc.

Oil spots
A single drop of salad dressing can ruin an immaculate white dress immediately. Fast repair: Use a cotton ear swab in starch or talc and apply it carefully, but abundant on the stain. Starch or talc are absorbing the oil.  Wait 15 minutes for the moisture to be absorbed, then shake the powder with a clean white towel. Repeat if necessary.

Blood spots
Have you stuck your finger in the corset needle and then you have touched the dress? Quick repair: a cotton ear swab moistened with your saliva and rub carefully over the blood stains. Acids will dissolve the stain. Works best when the blood  isn’t  dry yet.

Broken trail
Those safety pins can fix a broken trail in a moment or over unintentionally someone board.
