Customize the bridesmaid dresses

A bridesmaid is in the first place the bride’s help. During the even certain things appear and with the help of her maids of honors the bride easiest its work. It can be just holding the bouquet, it can be carrying for a while the train. No matter what someone has to do this. And with no others words to mention the “one” has to be near the bride all the time, with honor, as how the position, the statue of a person in this case is.

It is a sort of putting its own imprint to the dress, making it on the one hand totally representative for the one who wears it and on the other hand coming with some plus of effects, details to embellish the overall look. Or it can be about some adjustments regarding the style, the size, modifying some things as wanted.

The first perplexity may be now why to recur to such thing if the dresses are already made from top to bottom, purchased with no need to add or cut something. Or if they are made on a special order it means that they have been made exactly as demanded. In many cases the bridesmaid dresses, as many others things, are established at least several months before the event. And it is normal as a bride can not wait until the last minutes. But until then several things may change. It can be the vision about the dress, the desire to have it differently than initially or just the revulsion regarding one’s size, ones body measurements, the weight.

So, from no matter what reasons you see yourself in the posture of needing to change something at the dresses. Customize the bridesmaid dresses can be made with a seamstress’s help otherwise you risk ruining it and not improving its look as wanted. And what can you do in this way?

a) Adding or removing the straps. Better is to be the first method as removing them can cause further problems. This method is dedicated to those that want to reveal more the shoulders and back part, for those with a generous bust as well.

b) Change the size. It can be difficult in this way as a larger dress can be made tighter but the reverse order can be even impossible.

c) Add a sash. The sash is in fact a ribbon attached at the waist with the aim to accentuate better this part or to add a colored aspect about the dress.
