Contemporary wedding gowns

A wedding…a bride… a dress. These are the main things for a woman. It is not the selfishness but the true is that the wedding gown stands above everything else. It is the main thing needed, a symbol for the statue of a bride. And imagine that having such a great importance choosing it represents a real challenge.

Firstly, tradition and religious dogmas impose themselves. On the one hand a bride should take into account these facts too as the bridal gown should be decent after all; when entering in God’s House, at the ceremony, decency and modestly are the main references. It is after all a sign of respects towards God. But on the other hand traditions are obsolete. Why loose one’s personality by choosing a common type of wedding dress? And because modernism is responsible for this kid of thinking the only thing that remains as an attraction for the nowadays brides is the contemporary wedding gowns.

As the name itself suggests a contemporary wedding dress is the one inspired most from the ultimate tendencies regarding fashion. It leaves behind all those references, such as the dress to be totally covered and purely white, and it replaces them with fancy styles.

How do contemporary wedding gowns look like? It is a wide range of options, but all with the same aim: to be different, one of a kind, something new and absolutely amazing. Besides the well known and almost passed trend to have color accents on the dress, the mixture of different elements are on high demand. The bridal gown is no longer about a single pattern, but about a combination of designs. For example, a dress that has the corset white and sweetheart neckline, low cut of the back and the skirt of a different color, large and not in A-line as you would directly think- with pleated style. Or, an informal dress long and flowy, with waist accentuated and an interesting and elaborated design at the above part, as the spot of color and main point of attraction. Another option, for fearless brides: a silver dress, pick up style for the skirt in a totally unusual way, with asymmetrical parts. And the above part, straps, backless and cropped corset.

As you can see, the accent is on an unusual design. It is all about fashion. Not even the white color is no longer a must have. Indeed, for a conservative person these dresses are under no circumstances an option. But even so, such types of bridal gowns seem to gain popularity as more and more brides are willing to change the things. Why not try another style, why not be the only one to have such a dress, why not astonish everyone with such a dress? Questions that make a bride smile at this opportunity. Are you one of them?
