Colorful wedding gowns
White wedding dress is not currently a must. The collections of international designers keep some models of all white wedding dresses, but the trends are heading for some models with more color and personality. I am not saying that white wedding dress is completely old fashioned. Here is a matter of taste of each bride and it cannot be disputed. However it is good to know that colorful wedding gowns are becoming more popular. The light colored dresses or those with one spot color are even very commercialized in many other countries.
And this is explained by the need to add a drop of modernity to traditions, to get out of default patterns and to print a new direction on wedding dresses. If you have enough courage and you’re a future bride full of passion, you can even try a red dress. A bright red, passionate, which in combination with white creates a great contrast. Maggie Sottero included several colorful wedding gowns in its new collection for 2008 and is a stunning visual effect. Silk combined with red satin, a discreet embroidery with Swarovski stones and some drapery carefully made in the lower part of the dress will blow your mind.

Since prints are trendy this year, you can choose a printed wedding dress. Don’t think that I suggest such an extravagant dress that only in dreams you can imagine wearing it. If you have a wedding this summer in a natural setting (on the beach or somewhere in the mountains) is the perfect choice. If you’re a romantic woman with a strong sympathy toward the pink color developed, well you have a choice. You can opt for a pink dress and a wide dress draped in organza or you can head to a pink dress and a corset. Pink fits very well, especially a pale skin and gives a touch of elegance.

Wedding dress in shades of cream, are undoubtedly the most popular today. In part, this is because beige or cream are very close shades of classic white and let’s say they represents a “compromise” or a variant at hand for brides who don’t want a pure white dress. Golden Beige, Sable beige, rose beige, cappuccino … all these shades look very good and sweet the features.

Finally, if you don’t dare to wear a red dress, a pink one, and beige shades or prints does not impress you, there is a handy option: white dress with colored accents. Maybe it is a colored satin ribbon waist, a bow in the back of a corset in two contrast colors (white with blue, red or green) or the insertion of coloring on the train.11
