When the dress is cleaned and dry you can iron it yourself or take it to professionals. In case you decided to iron it yourself, make sure you’ve properly cleaned the iron from any dirt. Put the dress on a clean, flat surface and cover it with a white and thin piece of cotton. It is not safe to iron the dress directly. Carefully set the iron’s temperature. It is best to start with a lower one and then increase it gently. If the temperature is too high the iron will stick to your dress and ruin it. If your dress is made of tulle you must be highly attentive when ironing it. Tulle is mostly made of nylon and this fabric will easily melt, so set a very low temperature. Silk is a very sensitive fabric and can easily damage. Hence, it is very recommended to used a dry-cleaner.
