Chiffon Wedding Gown

The gown that you have thought of wearing in the day of your wedding celebration is meant to be created, designed and sewn by one of your friends, actually the best friend that you ever had, in her attempt to do the best in giving a helping hand to the planning of your wedding event. She has been close to you since the first day of your planning and having also your mom near you, you consider yourself lucky to be accompanied by the persons you appreciate the most in your life, next to your future spouse, that is! The thing that has been drawn you into the decision of having your own authentic wedding gown is the variety of styles available online, not to monition that the ones existing in your local bridal store (the only one) are too expensive to allow you even try them on.

Yet, you have done that in one of your shopping days, because you wanted to see which is the style that define your body shapes the best; and needing also to know if you can choose also another color than the white one, you have thought of selecting an cream-ivory color to differentiate you from the mass of traditional brides (you could also choose one of the nice ivory wedding cakes available online). And this option was again a not a cheap one, therefore while heading home in that day you have concluded to create your own wedding gown. But now your friend tells you that you have to decide on the type of fabrics out of which she would create the wedding gown.

This is an aspect that you haven’t previously considered, although you have seen that several fabrics were presented with the collection of wedding dresses displayed inside the local bridal store. But you have always believed that silk is the general fabrics out of which wedding gowns are made. And indeed it is, but browsing meanwhile online in search of the types of fabrics, you see that there are at least 20 types of silk and all of them are used in the creation of wedding dresses.

There is, for instance, Milan silk duchesse satin white or ivory silk charmeuse, or white silk velvet, each one of them with its various texture and its utility in the vast range of wedding gowns styles and designs. Your friend says that you need to focus on a type of fabric which is not that expensive (this is because you always put forward your desire to save some money for your honeymoon), but has somehow the availability to be cut in a style that will end up beautifully wrapping your body shapes.

One of the wedding gowns you have tried on while being downtown in the bridal shop was a chiffon wedding gown, sleeveless, with a beaded lace embellishment, and a laced up back of the bodice in a cream ivory nuance of fabric. Due to the lace embellishing element the gown was pretty expensive, therefore as much as it appealed to you, you still considered that is useless to pay that large amount of money for a gown that will eventually end up being self-made.

This is how you reach again inside the fabrics available for the wedding gowns and look for the price of chiffon which on one single web site you find it an affordable price per yard. And again you consider yourself lucky, the color presented is the desired one, and encouraged by your mom and your friend you proceed in ordering the right yards of fabric and begin sketching the last details of your yet to become chiffon wedding gown.
