The little black dress is an eternal item not necessarily because it fits all women but, because dark color background works as a painting or a theater scene: the figure must be well chosen because it must complement your body and all your shapes, you choose how to highlight them through paying attention to all the details. That is why there are so many cases of black dresses simply unnoticed: the possessors forgot to complement it with accessories or a print style.

I know for sure that you’ve heard too that all designers recommend any woman to buy at least a black dress because it can be worn regardless of the season. Finally, designers are realistic people, they realize that not all women have wardrobes that are as big as houses are and also any woman would prefer to buy an eternal dress (also versatile enough) that can be worn more than two times than buying a single dress (eventually as expensive as the other one) and wear it just a single time. There is no deal in this thing. I am no black color lawyer, on the contrary. I encourage all women to wear colorful outfits and finding the perfect color palette for each, I love the colors and I realize how much they may embellish the appearance.
But, finally, a black dress is considered an investment. It’s cost-per-wear, the period, or how you want to say. It’s the same story like shoes. You’ll wear more often a gorgeous pair of black shoes than some similar, but yellow or turquoise.

All these being said, I wish you good luck in finding your black bridesmaid gown and I hope you’ll have a nice unforgettable experience wearing it!
