Antique Style Wedding Gowns
Since last year it appeared a new word in fashion world and that word is “vintage”. Firstly, lot of women and I think men too started to get informed about this new trend in fashion and Internet (and here I am relating to fashion blogs like Garance Dore or The Sartorialist) introduced this word in their articles. After getting informed, women started to purchase new clothes for being in trend or to look in their wardrobe for old stuff. Nice mixed; you can get an interesting authentic look. Why not being a Vintage princess at a wedding too? Well, this article is about
antique style wedding gowns.
It’s not too easy for having a vintage brilliant look at this kind of event but if you take your time for obtaining good aesthetic information, I’m sure your look won’t be a cheap one. On the contrary, it will be elegant, special and classy. And also it’s a great idea for getting an antique style wedding gown. But, you must pay lot of attention. If you don’t dare to try this kind of outfit especially at a wedding better choose something which fits with your personality or try some vintage combination and textures with other occasions before wedding. In this way, you’ll get used with this look and you won’t surprise in negative way the other guests. Are you curious how you can obtain an antique look for such a special event? It’s not very heavy but neither too easy. First of all, you must think at the most important piece of your outfit. This means you must pay lot of attention when you’re buying the dress.

Usually, antique dresses relieve the cleavage so if you were gifted with a beautiful firm bust you may invest in this kind of dress. The thighs are well wrapped in easy sit of the dress. With a nice print, you’ll feel comfortable but sexy. There is also another advantage of wearing this kind of dress. You’ll have a harmonious silhouette, you’ll feel easy and cozy but also you’ll have a very refined and special carriage. If you choose a dress with two colors, lets say brown and blue, then pick a simple pair of shoes (personally, I’d say blue and I’d color my nails with a nude polish and I’d use a natural lipstick). Don’t forget about accessories. Usually, the women who desire an antique look are tempted to buy lots of jewelries.

Better make a nice hair do and choose a very interesting pair of earrings or maybe a kit with earrings, bracelet and necklace. If you apply for this kind of kit you should choose very small accessories, not very powerful or fancy. Why not some natural pearls? A nice purse (better handcrafted) and sweet delicate perfume will fill your vintage outfit. So, before go shopping, get informed, make a list with the things above, set an image in your mind and go achieving the desired look. Once bought, take care off all them, especially of dress (be careful how you use the iron on it) and be a princess. All these being said, you really can look divine choosing an antique look even for wedding events.
